• What is the difference between co-owner and beneficiary?

A co-owner refers to multiple members on the contract. Co-owners can be added or removed at any time, all co-owners share an equal responsibility with the membership. A beneficiary is a ´´ tentative ´´ person that could take over a membership primary or all members were to be deceased. A beneficiary has no rights or responsibility to the membership without a statement or will from prior to member/s passing.

• What is the mandatory service fee?

The Gratuity Program consists of a $4.00 USD Gratuity charge per day and is designed for the entire behind-the-scene employees, such as Gardeners, Maintenance and Laundry staff, who make your stay at the resort the most comfortable and enjoyable as possible.This daily fee is a generally accepted labor practice within the resort industry and Mexico in particular.

• Can I use pool on multiple resorts while on vacation?

The Club and the Resort both have a policy that the “use of pools and lounge chairs is strictly limited to those actually sta yin g at a particular Resort,”. This rule is stated in the Club Rules and Regulations. Even though members are allowed on all properties to utilize services such as dining and the spa, the pool rules are enforced to ensure that the resorts have enough space for members and guests staying at the resort.

• Can I use resort facilities if I am not register at resort?

The Club Rules and Regulations state that a member shall only use the exclusive lodging rights and services associated with that Member’s Membership during the exact reserved Use Period(s) designated with that Membership and not at any other time. A User staying in one Project shall not use the services or Common Areas of any adjacent or other Project except that Users staying at Villa del Mar or Villa del Palmar may use the services and Common Areas of both of those Projects. (Section 2.01 Lodging Rights and Services of the UVC Resorts Rules & Regulations). • What is aWait List and how this works? In order to accommodate high levels of use and demand for certain period of the Calendar Year for certain Projects, the Club Manager shall have the right to establish a special reservation wait list for those days which are unavailable to the Members due to heavy booking.
